Linseed oil is a traditionally used vegetable solvent for oil painting. It serves to dilute paints and increase the brightness and brilliance of their colors.
The refined linseed oil for painting “Maimeri” has a slight yellowish tint and a soft glossy finish. It is used to dilute thick oil paints, which not only makes it easier to apply and erase traces of the brush used, but also increases the transparency and depth of the applied layers. Compared to other oil mediums, flaxseed oil dries quickly. When dry, there is a tendency to slightly yellow. It can be diluted with turpentine.
Maimeri linseed oil is available in glass bottles with a capacity of 75 ml, 100 ml, 1 l and 5 l.
