The graphic pencils of the “Grafwood” series of “Caran d’Ache” have a stylus with a diameter of 2.1-3.6 mm., varying depending on the degree of hardness of the graphite. In order to prevent breakage, they are wrapped in special cedar wood in a hexagonal shape and have a final lacquer coating.
If it is necessary to make corrections to the graphite sketches with the Grafwood pencils, a bread eraser is used, and the finished graphics are fixed with aerosol varnish.
