Restauro varnishes are made from highly concentrated pure and stable pigments mixed with mastic resin and refined hydrocarbon solvents. Their composition includes original and natural, natural pigments such as authentic sienna, green earth, umber, Kassel earth, ocher and Neapolitan yellow. Each of the pigments is obtained by following classic medieval recipes, without the use of artificial oxides, industrial substitutes or industrial precipitation. Maimeri restoration varnishes are stable and highly resistant to light and weathering, and their color range includes 33 colors, available in 20 ml tubes.

The special formula of the restoration varnishes allows for soft and light application, without showing a trace of additional work on the restored image.
