The silicone mold of the Smarta brand works with air-dried clay for modeling. Easy to use, it is ideal for modeling small ornaments and objects, as well as for making DIY jewelry or unique and original decorative objects.
How to use this 100% silicone mold?
- Soften a piece of clay in your hands.
- Place the clay in the mold of your choice. Press it firmly to make sure the clay fits perfectly to the shape. Once the self-hardening clay has been formed, it can be painted with powder pastel, acrylic or oil paint.
- Carefully peel off the mold. Gently move the silicone to allow air to pass between the silicone and the mold.
- Allow to air dry. After drying, the polymer can be varnished and polished.
The resulting mold can be glued to a glass surface with a little water or to any surface with white glue.
Cleaning instructions:
Wipe the mold with a soft cloth, then wash it under the tap with soap.
To keep it in optimal condition, we recommend storing it in its box.
