The slag metal of the “Idea Oro” series of “Maimeri” is designed for a perfect imitation of a gold, silver or copper effect on various surfaces. It is used to decorate icons and decoupage projects, on bases such as wood, cardboard, canvas, plastic, clay, metal, etc.

Flake slag metal is a fine transfer film that effectively imitates precious metals such as gold, silver and copper. Small flakes of metal slag are sprinkled on a flat and smooth base (if the base is porous, then it must be pre-treated with a primer). A strong sticky glue is applied to the desired base, which is sprinkled with the fine foil and pressed using a soft brush or sponge to fix it well to the glue. In order to remove unnecessary and non-sticky protruding pieces of metal slag, they are rubbed, resulting in a flat and smooth gilded, silver-plated or copper surface.
